Irakli Makatsaria was born in Batumi, Georgia. He received his secondary education in the United States and later pursued higher education in Georgia, specializing in marketing. In 2013, he founded Maq Entertainment, pioneering collaborations between Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Indian film industry (Bollywood), through numerous international projects.

A well-known TV host and producer, Irakli has been active in the television industry for many years. Currently he is the host of “Prime Show” and has served as a judge on “Dancing with the Stars – Georgia” for the past five years.

Expanding his entrepreneurial portfolio beyond entertainment, he founded a travel agency in 2021 and in 2023 launched Georgia’s first EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) fitness studio. Through his diverse ventures, Irakli Makatsaria continues to promote innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and creative excellence across media, tourism, and wellness.
